This story was partially written by Catclaw, since me and him work in a project that involves 4 clans. However, even though I now write this story alone, he gets rights for its creation.
Every few days, there will be a chapter put up, written by me. Spelling errors and grammar mistakes will be fixed if pointed out.

It was a dark and cold night, but it was not quiet. A "war" has been started between RockClan and LightningClan.
"Yellowstar, I don't think we can hold them back!" said Dustcloud, deputy of LightningClan. Yellowstar is the leader of LightningClan.
"You're right. We have to suggest falling back. Take all of the fighting warriors and apprentices to camp they'll be healed by our mediciene cat."
Yellowstar and his clan retreated to their territory. It has been a long day, and he is tired.
"You're back!", said Amberkit, one of the kits of LightningClan.
"Yes we are, but many of our strongest warriors have been wounded. I don't know how much long longer we can hold out. Now if you'll excuse me I have a annoucement to make.", said Yellowstar.
"Attention all cats of LightningClan, I have a annoucement. RockClan is on our pawstep, and we must get prepared. So I have gotten our mediciene cat, Goosewhisker, to heal the warriors injured in battle. Now let's fight back against RockClan!", he annouced.
The warriors cheered and praised their leader's actions. They really wanted this fight to be over!
Chapter 1:
Everything was awoken by the hot rays of the sun. As Yellowstar took a deep yawn, and the sun's beam was reflecting off his cream yellow pelt, he opened his eyes and saw everyone was outside, training apprentices, eating from the fresh kill pit, and sharing tongues. Yellowstar then walked on his wobbly paws over to Gingerpelt.
"Gingerpelt, I need you to go on the morning patrol with Nightstorm, Blazetail, and Shadowstrike."
"But what about Lightningclaw?"
"I'm having some precautions about him, wouldn't take any chance or risk."
"Fair enough, Yellowstar. Better not be a mouse brain and complain."
Gingerpelt took her patrol to border. Yellowstar treated Gingerpelt like she was the grand deputy. Being a older cat, her origins are unknown, but some claim that she was a orphan and adopted Skunkpelt and Willowleaf as a father and mother, and Freckledface would always save her in battle, granting her as a adopted sister. Some say she was clan born and was part of the clan switch program, which then Freckledkit was kidnapped from LightningClan.
On the patrol, Blazetail smelled the fresh scent of fish. She then found the Sharptooth River, with its hazardous rocks pointy like the teeth of the aquatic predator that lived in its waters.
"This isn't good. The river is rising, which means we're easy prey for sharks.", Blazetail said with worry.
Just then, she saw two beady, black eyes in the water, glaring at her with its hunter's kill stare. The shark then jumped out of the water, knocking Blazetail into the murky depths of the river. Very deep it was, for one cat couldn't see a drowned cats body in it.
The shark then dissapeared in the murky water. Blazetail tried to keep as still as she could. She knew that sharks were attracted to movement, and blood of course. Just then the fin of the shark got closer and closer to her. Then, the shark leaped out of the water.
"Blazetail, hold on, I'm coming!"
Nightstorm then pounced from the riverbank and jumped on the shark. He then clawed its eye hard, for that the shark couldn't see well. The shark swam away.
Blazetail was out of the water, but not Nightstorm.
"Nightstorm, look out!!", Blazetail screeched.
All of a sudden, a shark with a scar on its left eye quickly rammed into Nightstorm, sending him flying in the air. Then Nightstorm hit the ground with a boom, then a following thud. He had a broken paw, judging by the extreme pain near the area.. He had felt like he had been hit by a twoleg monster, but the pain was much worse, as if he was chewed to shreds. The shark gleamed at him in the swirling water, now tainted with the red substance, and dissapeared into the river's murky depths.
Chapter 2:
Gingerpelt and Shadowstrike arrived at camp. They asked Blazetail what happened, judging by the expression on her face and her mattered pelt.
"Its a long story, so long that it would cover all of the gathering place's area. Maybe even larger.", said Blazetail.
They carried Nightstorm's body back to the clan. Yellowstar saw Nightstorm, paralyzed, realizing that he had to do something. Yellowstar swiftly ran over, as quick as he ran before.
"What happened?", said the now perplexed tom.
"Nightstorm has beeen in a shark attack to protect me.", said Blazetail, but her words sounded like they were all mashed up into a one word sentence.
"Oh great, another dramatic morning?"
The words came from Lightningclaw, a tom who is considered to be cruel and was accused of the death of another clan warrior. His eyes always lied, so the clan never believes him, after countless death threats and war attempts.
"Lightningclaw, have some repsect for a warrior willing to sacrifice himself for another.", said Yellowstar.
"I don't respect anyone.", Lightningclaw said.
"Take Nightstorm to Snowtail. She'll mend that broken paw fast.", he suggested.

That night, Yellowstar had a whimsical dream, one so out-of-this-world that you couldn't believe a word he said.
He was at the crossover. On the other side, he saw strange cats of all kinds that he never seen before. Their scent was not the wanderers, nor StoneClan, nor the like. It smelled like bones, thousands of moons old.
Then, he was at the banks of the Sharptooth River, and its tide was much higher than usual. He saw the cats who went on patrol earlier accidently fall down. Sharks appeared as each cat took a deep plunge into the water. They all either drowned or were crushed in the jaws of the hungry sharks.
Soon, this lead to a scene where Lightningclaw killed his brother, the cat with the same name, only difference was by look and the tail suffix. Lightningclaw was the leader of the wanderers, the evil loners, due to all of his ambitious acts. Then, as they and PrehistoricClan left the forest, the forest magically burst into flames. Yellowstar heard the cries of cats from all clans as they were poisoned by the smoke they inhaled. The stars in the clear night sky burnt out, as if GalaxyClan was destroyed.
After this series of horrifying, disturbing events, Yellowstar was greeted by Sunstar, the former leader of LightningClan. She said that chaos would reign again, as dinosaurs would roam the world once more, bringing tradegy and conflict to all. She also mentioned a prophecy, but Yellowstar couldn't hear clearly. Just after this, Yellowstar saw Stonestar, leader of RockClan successfully murder him.
Yellowstar woke up, and he could see a few bloody clawmarks on his soft underbelly. He had just lost his eighth life to a ambush. With only one more life, how much could he take before his death?

Yellowstar quickly was busy looking around when he saw a certain sight, one that would give him a shock.
He saw the form of Gingerpelt. Blood was flowing from the wounds on her face, her plain dark ginger pelt, and her thin legs. Yellowstar wondered why he was getting so many visions of danger, evil, hate, and conflict. None of these had a meaning of peace into them.
"What happened!? It looks like you nearly got beaten to your death.", he asked.
"Well, you see, I was on a patrol, a "hike" more like it. I smelled something strange near crossover. There I saw them, these cats who began attacking me like I'm prey. Then they crossed over to the forest! That explains it all!"
Were these the mysterious cats Yellowstar saw in his nightmare? But what if the yellow tabby was wrong? He worried about the words Sunstar spoke to him. He didn't understand what was a dinosaur, but he thought it was probably large then a clan cat, comparing by size. He had so many questions to ask.
"That's it, I'll go to the Moonstone right after I'll wake up. I NEED to get these answered! I must speak with GalaxyClan, I must!"
"Yellowstar, did you just hear me, you mouse-brain? Look, I didn't mean to say that, but there's more dangers going there now then before!"
"I'm going alone."
"Fine then. I can't fight with you. Make sure you're careful."
"Promise."

As Yellowstar was pacing towards Moonstone Falls, the cats he have been questioning all this time had been waiting in the bushes. They were rustling loudly, as each cat pounced out of their leafy disguise.
Then, a bulky tom named "Tyrano"star comes out of the way of the toms and she-cats. He speaks that Yellowstar is history, and sends out his "deputy", Raptorclaw, to finish off the golden tabby tom. As soon as he finished, another rustling could be heard in the bushes. More of them? You must be kidding me! There's too many to face now, and if they are more evil cats, then I'm freshkill, Yellowstar thought.
Turns out, it was not from the other clan, but from his very own. Gingerpelt suggested to hide in the bushes, just in case if Yellowstar got into more trouble.
"Gingerpelt must've told you guys about-"
Right before he could finish his sentence, the first battle began. A gray she-cat named Pteraclaw leaps right on his back, but Yellowstar peforms a belly rake and pins her down, digging in his claws into her soft flesh, making it the most painful thing she ever felt. Then, Pteraclaw suprisingly did a successful scruff shake, even after that move Yellowstar just preformed. But she wasn't heading for him. No, she was heading for Spiderheart, a cat who wasn't supposed to be fighting at all!
Pteraclaw clamped her fangs hard into Spiderheart's neck, breaking her windpipe, and forced most of the life in her body to leave. She was to die, after all of this trouble, she had to go.
Skunkpelt, the adopted father of Gingerpelt, rushes right in and tells everyone to stop. Skunkpelt scares off the PrehistoricClan cats, using his powerful voice and words, and his hideous face also added a touch to make them leave.
They're gone for now, but they'll be back. Nobody runs away for good, or at least for me, Yellowstar thought.

Hey hey hey! Chapter 4 is down below.
To sum up the first 3 chapters:
Prolouge:This begins the story, 36 moons previously, where Amberpaw(yes, but as a kit?) greets Yellowstar and Dustcloud retreating from the last fight. They had to heal the older warriors, and to wait for the next battle.
Chapter One:Yellowstar tells Shadowstrike, Nightstorm, Gingerpelt, and Blazetail to go on patrol. While Gingerpelt and Shadowstrike are out hunting, Nightstorm and Blazetail are attacked by sharks(yes, the cats are near the ocean, and there's a river near camp that is connected to the ocean). Nightstorm nearly dies in this chapter, by scratching a shark's eye, only later to be dragged down, nearly drowning. Nightstorm is then sent to Snowtail to be have his wounds healed.
Chapter 2:Yellowstar's dream. He sees cats from a clan known as PrehistoricClan(they have a big role in this story). Then, he has a vision where the cats who previously went on patrol were killed by the sharks. Then, he sees Lightningclaw kill Lightningtail, his similarly named but different brother. After that, Lightningclaw becomes leader of the Wanderers(loners and rougues), which then leave with PrehistoricClan and StoneClan out of the forest, which then sets on fire(very odd). Cats of all clans die in the fire. Soon, the stars in the sky burn out, as if GalaxyClan(StarClan) blew up. Right after that, Yellowstar recieves a message from previous leader Sunstar(she-cat) that "Dinosaurs will rule the world once more.". Yellowstar is confused by this.
Chapter 3:Yellowstar spots a bleeding Gingerpelt, still in his dream. She tells him that the "dinosaurs" have attacked, and have come into the forest. Just before he wakes up, he loses his 8th life. Sometime in this chapter, Snowtail recieves a much longer prophecy, featuring lots of cats. Then, Yellowstar decides to go to the moonstone near the waterfall. Just as he enters, PrehistoricClan attacks, and begins the very first small battle. LightningClan cats also fight. Spiderheart, however, is killed in battle due to her major wounds.
So here's chapter 4!
"Hurry up! These rouges are attacking the clan! Get Snowtail!", growls a angry brown tom.
Snowtail rushed and before you know it, she has arrived. Looking down at Nightstorm with her warm blue gaze, it seemed like she was a ancestor from GalaxyClan, only she had not passed away.
"Stop acting like a mouse-brain, Nightstorm, and tell me what's wrong!", says Snowtail.
Nightstorm told Snowtail about the PrehistoricClan attacks, the death of Spiderheart, and the help of Freckledface.
"Seems like Yellowstar's drea, the prophecy, and the uprising of Stonestar all seem connected."

Nightstorm's gaze turned to Willowleaf. She was still angry and sad from the death of her fellow queen, and could be seen panting near her limp body, weak from fighting the otherclanners. Spiderheart's body already had a pool of blood near her, and it was only a good five minutes since she was dragged into camp.
"I see that, but you being such of a worry wart, so cut it out, its not like its the end of the world or something."
"Heh, I guess you're right. But keep a eye for anyone who needs help."
"I will. I promise."

"You'll never get me alive suckers! Or at least the clan, that is!", said Lightningclaw as he chased the remaining warriors into a corner.
The blue gray tom grinned with evil happiness, or anything similar. Those cats won't know what they're in for, thought Lightningclaw.
"Well, haven't you noticed I'm on your side. I was attacked them, not you. I'm betraying them, since they never gave me freedom. Freedom to do everything I want! But no, they have to have a "code". That's the reason why I chased you here. To tell you this, and to nobody else, maybe except Stonestar."
"Wwhat kind of freedom is that? We may have what you want.", said a tom named Raptorclaw. He was a black tom, with the fitting crimson eyes and gray patches of fur. The eyes were bloodish coloured from a angle.
"Yep, I think you have it. Fine, I will join you, but promise to wipe out the clans. We will rule!"
"I will, and we will.", says Raptorclaw with pleasure.
Before long, they were laughing manically, thinking they would really rule the forest. A leaf fell from the tree nearby, as the breezes gently made it fall to the rough earth.

"That's the last of them, Yellowstar. Me and Shadowstrike chased them out.", said a proud Dustcloud. The dusty gray tom had driven the intruders out, with the help of Shadowstrike and the support of Lightningtail.
"Good, but you, Shadowstrike, and Tinypaw go on patrol. The apprentices fought very well today, Tinypaw mainly. Watch out for PrehistoricClan, and avoid the river at all costs. Oh, and if Freckledface asks to join the clan, then tell her she can.", said Yellowstar.
Shadowstrike then tried to find Tinypaw. She was tending the soft moss in the elder's den.
"That will be enough. For now.", said Skunkpelt. The old tom's look was priceless. His face was tattered with the scars from a battle which caused him to step down from leadership and retire.
"But why me? Gingerpelt is my mentor, not you."
"Yeah, but so does Lilypaw, yet you don't see her complaning.", retorted Shadowstrike.
"Fine, but make me and Gingerpelt go together next time."
Soon, the three were on dusk border patrol. Shadowstrike's front leg still ached of the wound she recieved earlier during battle. Dustcloud also had his tribulations, too. His keen hearing was starting to fade, but not by much, but he's certain that he'll be deaf by his retirement as a deputy or even leader, maybe even earlier.
Before they they knew it, they had reached the border. Its scent was unsual, with the odd smell of the other clan reeking horribly. Something was not right. Stoneclan and PrehistoricClan both marked their scents on the border, thinking that they have taken over.
"Only one thing would answer this this, and just about every danger to the Clans:Lightningclaw! He has no respect for anyone, and seeks vengance for losing his freedom, his freedom to kill!"
"Hmph, should explain everything. But did Yellowstar send us to check the border since he thinks we're part of the prophecy?"
"I doubt it."

"Today, I would like to introduce some new warriors and apprentices.", says Yellowstar, bold and proud.
"Tinypaw, do you agree to protect your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do."
"Then by the powers of GalaxyClan, I grant you your warrior name. For now on, Tinypaw shall be known as Tinyear!"
"Tinyear! Tinyear!"
Soon, Yellowstar made Firepaw Fireflower, Lilypaw Lilystripe, and Amberpaw Ambereye.
"Now then, since we are done with the new warrior ceremonies, I will start annoucing the the new apprentices.", said Yellowstar. His eyes were gleaming with pride. Those new warriors would do a lot in their lives, for sure.
"Flowerkit, come up please."
Slowly, the ginger she-cat padded up to her leader, who in comparision was much larger then her.
"By naming apprentices, we show that LightningClan will survive and remain strong. Flowerkit, for now on you will be known as Flowerpaw. Nightstorm, you are ready for another apprentice. You will be Flowerpaw's mentor."
"Flowerpaw! Flowerpaw!"
Yellowstar made Shadowstrike mentor Stormpaw, and Lightningtail mentor Barkpaw. He then had one more annoucement.
"Tonight is when the mediciene cats meet at the Moonstone. Skykit will have her cermony there.", he says proudly.

Soon, all of the clan cats rushed back into their respective dens. Flowerpaw was ordered to tend the elder's den moss.
As she was tending the moist flooring, she wondered how she could play a part in her clan. But being only six moons old, she probably would have to work hard and wait for her time to be a warrior. As Gingerpelt would always say, "Patience is a virtue.", which meant that she had to be patient.

To sum up the first 3 chapters:
Prolouge:This begins the story, 36 moons previously, where Amberpaw(yes, but as a kit?) greets Yellowstar and Dustcloud retreating from the last fight. They had to heal the older warriors, and to wait for the next battle.
Chapter One:Yellowstar tells Shadowstrike, Nightstorm, Gingerpelt, and Blazetail to go on patrol. While Gingerpelt and Shadowstrike are out hunting, Nightstorm and Blazetail are attacked by sharks(yes, the cats are near the ocean, and there's a river near camp that is connected to the ocean). Nightstorm nearly dies in this chapter, by scratching a shark's eye, only later to be dragged down, nearly drowning. Nightstorm is then sent to Snowtail to be have his wounds healed.
Chapter 2:Yellowstar's dream. He sees cats from a clan known as PrehistoricClan(they have a big role in this story). Then, he has a vision where the cats who previously went on patrol were killed by the sharks. Then, he sees Lightningclaw kill Lightningtail, his similarly named but different brother. After that, Lightningclaw becomes leader of the Wanderers(loners and rougues), which then leave with PrehistoricClan and StoneClan out of the forest, which then sets on fire(very odd). Cats of all clans die in the fire. Soon, the stars in the sky burn out, as if GalaxyClan(StarClan) blew up. Right after that, Yellowstar recieves a message from previous leader Sunstar(she-cat) that "Dinosaurs will rule the world once more.". Yellowstar is confused by this.
Chapter 3:Yellowstar spots a bleeding Gingerpelt, still in his dream. She tells him that the "dinosaurs" have attacked, and have come into the forest. Just before he wakes up, he loses his 8th life. Sometime in this chapter, Snowtail recieves a much longer prophecy, featuring lots of cats. Then, Yellowstar decides to go to the moonstone near the waterfall. Just as he enters, PrehistoricClan attacks, and begins the very first small battle. LightningClan cats also fight. Spiderheart, however, is killed in battle due to her major wounds.
So here's chapter 4!
"Hurry up! These rouges are attacking the clan! Get Snowtail!", growls a angry brown tom.
Snowtail rushed and before you know it, she has arrived. Looking down at Nightstorm with her warm blue gaze, it seemed like she was a ancestor from GalaxyClan, only she had not passed away.
"Stop acting like a mouse-brain, Nightstorm, and tell me what's wrong!", says Snowtail.
Nightstorm told Snowtail about the PrehistoricClan attacks, the death of Spiderheart, and the help of Freckledface.
"Seems like Yellowstar's drea, the prophecy, and the uprising of Stonestar all seem connected."

It is really good. There are some spelling mistakes and a few minor grammatical errors. I felt like the story was bit choppy -- maybe better transitions?

I agree. The story was REALLY choppy at the start. In fact, I was laughing at the mistakes my friend made. But remember that we are always open to improvements.

The only one I can remember was this one: The sharm gleamed at him in the water, then dissapeared into the depths of the stream.

Anyways, Catclaw is currently busy with a Jurassic Park thing of his, so I'm taking over the next few chapters.
Chapter Five and more of Chapter 4 will be hopefully put up during the next few weeks.
@Moon over Sun, Lifeblaze, Freepaw, and Whistlestep are just a few charries that have been accepted, and Whistlestep and Freepaw(now genderswapped, Whistlestep is the same, but Freepaw is a tortiseshell she-cat) get a part in Chapter 6!

Heh, anytime. Chapter Six includes a crazy Lifeblaze, a reference that possibly a few of you would get, a near abduction, and a sneak peak at Lifeblaze's herb garden. Plenty of PrehistoricClan cats appear, like Dromeofeather(she'll be included in this reference to lots of movies when men try to sacrifice themselves) Brachiokit(she'll have a bigger role along with her brother), and more of Raptorclaw and Terraclaw will pop up in chapter 5!

REALLY sorry guys. I hadn't had time to put up shadows yet. All I know is that Chapter 5 is finished, and a ambush is in chapter 6. Also, new mates! We got a surprise here :3. Can you guess who they are? (Hint:one pairing is between the new warriors, and the other is between two main characters x3)
