Dear Diary,
Hello there. My name is Silver Feather. Though, my master calls me slave. I'm very young, my mother is dead and my father is somewhere else. So that's my reason for being a slave. I'm writing in you for the first time. My mother bought you when I was born so I could write down my feelings when I grew up, and so this and a camera where the only things I could snatch up before the people took me away. I found this old blue pen in the attic in which I stay. Right now as I'm writing in you, master and her children are getting ready to go somewhere fancy. I'm not invited. I have been their slave for only a week now, and already I wish I was somewhere else. Somewhere with my mother. I would say more but master is coming up to tell me to go to sleep, and possibly whip me because I'm not already sleeping. well, let me quickly pin this picture up so you know who I am.
