So, like several others of you I'm a one on one roleplay. I'd like to say straight off the bat that I'm a friendly, laidback, usually passive person. If you have ideas, go ahead and offer them (I don't bite). If you don't like my ideas, go ahead and let me know. I have plot/setting ideas (I'll list them below if they are for a specific genre), but if you like the genre/category and don't like my idea just tell me. We can do the same genre/category with a new idea or just toss our characters in an rp together. I play both genders and though I prefer to play female I also enjoy doubling or playing multiple characters given the role-play. I'm not particular on whether you play as many characters as I do, or if our gender ratios match up. I'd prefer if you were literate enough to not god-mode, power-play, or meta-game (have your character act all god-like/invincible, decide actions for my characters, or know OoC info IC). I do have a tendency to have longer posts (introductions at least), that's just because where I usually role-play are on forums such as proboards or invisionfree where there is a set minimum word limit, and if I really like the role-play I tend to type more. So, at most, my introductions tend to be long, but otherwise I try to match how much the other person posts unless I have high or low muse at that given time. I'd prefer if you didn't use chatspeak IC unless your character actually says "W-T-F!" (like I tend to do.. in real life O.O; ). Minimal ooc in the IC roleplay is alright so long as it's in brackets. Annnd I think that's it as far as umm.. guidelines go. Nooow onto the funner stuffs. ^-^
Also, I enjoy cursing, romance, and violence, but all three are not necessary for a role-play.
If you have a problem with any of these let me know.

Lots of options.. yeah. I know. Hopefully they draw you in rather than scare you away. As I said, I'm open to ideas. And my only other rule is.. that if its your plot/idea/setting then you have to start sense you have a better idea of the plot/idea/setting since you suggested it. I'll do the exact same if I suggest it.
Also. Some plot/settings I have:
- Mutant based -
- A natural disaster hits [enter big city name here], and [lets say its an earthquake or a tidal wave] people are trapped in buildings and it takes a little bit of creativity and a combination of very unique individuals to get everyone out alive. Perhaps some gifted firefighters, or people trapped in a building after an earthquake, or a combination of the two.
- College campus, on the bulletin board where students put up flyers for parties, fundraisers, etc. There's a flyer for (4-5) roommates in an town house close to campus. These town houses usually belong to town natives and are usually pretty expensive but this one catches your eye.
- A grocery store on the outside of a large city is robbed, customers are held at gunpoint and when the sirens of police cars brings hope to the hostages that's when it gets weird. The assailants don't seem to mind the impending doom that's heading their way, they in fact seem to anticipate it, and it's like they have something up their sleeve. Could the robbers be in fact mutants who are tired of hiding and want to make a generalized statement to the public by their criminal act?
- Mutant x Vampire - Basically, vampires hunt humans, but they've recently discovered an even better food source; mutants. Of course, the flavor of the food tends to change with the mutants power source. And some vampires enslave mutants for just that purpose. To keep a delicious desert-like snack for whenever the need may arise.
Mutants are not always so evenly matched to the vampires, as their abilities often range from minor things such as invisibility (which really wouldn't help them unless they could completely hide the way they smell as well as their appearance) to major things like elemental manipulation. Basically, mutants are fighting not only to hide amongst the humans during the daylight hours, but also hiding or fighting for survival against vampires.
[And of course, vampires are strictly night-time creatures. If this isn't your interpretation of vampires, you'll either have to try mine, or we can come to a mutual agreement (though they'll still be strictly nocturnal). And guess what, they don't sparkle.]
- Fantasy -
- Road trip; four friends (two boys two girls) go on a road trip for the summer just to see the world. In the high hilly regions of Western Virginia there car stalls and they have to go by foot to find help. Only they haven't seen anyone other vehicles or towns for quite some time. Either way, its useless to just stay and wait for help so they move forward along the slick, wet road carrying several of their bags because they aren't sure how long it might take them to find some sort of civilization. On the second day of their journey to find assistance, they find a worn dirt trail that would hopefully lead them in the right direction. There's a sign nearby that hints to a town only a few miles down and the four friends begin to travel down that way. But the town isn't any normal town. It in fact, belongs to some people that aren't all that ordinary. People that aren't anywhere ordinary. The town is full of supernatural beings, and the new human arrivals are a new and pleasant surprise for the supernaturals. As to what they want? It all depends on which supernatural creature the friends happen to run into first..
- Harry Potter/Hogwarts -
- Basically our characters wander down a hall or enter a room that somehow brings them back in time (either during H. Potter's era or during the Marauder's era). And the pair have to try and find their way back. This roleplay will most likely involve doubling or at least side characters.
- This is the only role-play where we might have to use canons, and I apologize in advance if I royally suck at this.
