Honou are fiery cat-demons. Even as kittens they already have wings made of flames on their back, though those wings aren't able to carry them yet. When they get older they also learn to spew fire. These Nyakuma like to play with fire and play tricks on humans. They are the cheekiest of their species, but not really dangerous. It's not rare for them to cause forest fires, though they are mostly caused by accident by young cats playing around. But if someone threatens them they aren't reluctant to burn down whole villages to protect their families. Their biggest weakness is water. They hate it and avoid any form of it.
