Cole is a shy, reclusive, introverted kind of guy. He tends to be very mistrusting and doesn't like to get too close to someone for fear they'll walk away. This stems from when his mother left him with his father and older brother. Though he does have a few wonderful friends, he can be very insecure sometimes. Once he's used to you, the shyness wears off. When he's close to someone he's fiercely loyal and willing to do anything he can to help them. He's a sweet, caring guy who just wants to have a few people who care about him around. Cole had a rough life while living with his father and brother. His brother was the obvious favorite; his father never even tried to hide it. This, of course, did a number on Cole's self-esteem. During his years of school he never had very many friends. Since he was alone most of the time, he took up playing guitar and writing songs. That seems to make him happy. Hardly ever does anyone get to read what he writes, though. Cole's likes and dislikes differ dramatically. On one hand, his likes, he loves to be alone, he loves dark colors and loud music, and he refuses to watch any movies that aren't horror or action. One the other hand, the dislikes, he can't stand being around people, light colors and happy music, or sappy romance movies. At this point, everyone around him is hoping he eventually shakes the insecurities and finally acts like the kind, fun-loving guy they know he is.
