The land of Valeskia is a wild area with only a few human settlements. A wide variety of animals and plants is living there, some are creatures that we have in our world too others are fantasy animals or have magical skills. One of these magic animals is the Valeskian Reef Shark. The Reef Shark is a relative small member of the shark family; adults reach a maximum length of 1 meter, males are a bit smaller than female sharks. They have two dorsal fins, big eyes and come in a range of different patterns. Each egg of this shark contains besides the unhatched shark a gemstone in the shape of a crescent at a indestructible ribbon. Young Reef Sharks love playing with their gemstone and adults wear them at their tail. These magical gemstones allow the sharks to float over water or land for 30 minutes. After they used this ability, the sharks have to rest many hours. The sharks are very friendly and only hunt small and medium sized fishes; they have never attacked other animals or humans. During the floating state, the fishes are not able to eat something. It is one of the more common sharks of Valeskia, because of its size the Reef Shark can hide very well in the reefs.
