One of Japan's true wonders, the Ryuusagi is a cross between a Jackalope and Japanese Dragon. The Ryuusagi is an agile creature, and has rarely been seen by any creature. It is easily startled, so meetings between the Ryuusagi and other species haven't gone very... pleasantly, you might say. Due to it being part dragon, it has extremely sharp claws that can penetrate walls, and a breath that can be let out as fire. About the size of a horse, it's only possible enemy would be another of it's kind. When disturbed, it chases its target until it gets its' revenge.

The Ryuusagi is a very solitary creature, and tends to stay by itself until mating season, when it mingles with others of it's kind. The rest of the year, however, it hides from humans and even other Ryuusagi. Ryuusagi are Omnivores. While It does go out to hunt for meat, it's slow metabolism causes them to eat much less than it seems they might.
