Type: Loch Ness Monster
Animal FactsThe sky was pitch black. No stars dared shine, though the moon gleamed full with malicious intent. In the dark and stormy waves of huge lake, a small ship was fighting for it's life in the heart of the storm. "Lower the Masts!" a captain shouted above the harsh winds. But his call went unanswered, and unheard. Except by one. Who was listening in on the doomed ship's struggle. In a flash of silvery white, most likely a reflection of the moon, a huge water monster breached the surface and swallowed the entire ship whole. This is one of the many, yet rare, encounters with one of the most terrifying and mysterious creatures known to our waters. The Loch Ness Monster. Also referred to as 'Nessie' this big behemoth towers over school buses at 25 - 30 feet tall, with a flipper span of almost 50 feet. (Or so the legend says...) Very little is known about it, but one thing is for sure. You never want to meet it face to face.
