Animal Facts

The land of Valeskia is a wild area with only a few human settlements. A wide variety of animals and plants is living there, some are creatures that we have in our world too, others are fantasy animals or have magical skills. One of these animals is the Heaven Salamander. The habitat of these little creatures, the Volcanic Mountains, is located in the south-west of Valeskia. Although they look like their namesake the fire salamander the Heaven Salamanders are reptiles and often called amphibian dragons. Once the feathered wings are full grown they can fly several hours without any break. The Salamanders are able to survive with all they take from heat and magma, but they love to eat fruits, berries and vegetables, if they find some. Humans especially children like to watch these peaceful salamanders, but they have to stay away while the female Heaven Salamanders take care of their offspring.
