Kurayami are demon-cats that love the darkness. Like most other Nyakuma they have wings on their backs, that resemble bat wings. On top of their head they also have a pair of horns that can be used for defending and attacking. They hide and sleep in dark places during the day and come out at night to hunt and fight of other animals and demons from their territory. Usually they are loners, but if they find a mate they stay together with that cat forever. Kurayami have the ability to spread darkness. Where they live it is always pretty dark and gloomy because of that. Though these Nyakuma sound dangerous, they really aren’t. They keep away from humans and only attack when threatened.
